As an A4 Chargeman, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our electrical installations and infrastructure.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical system maintenance, ensuring full compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations, and implementing best practices in industrial electrical safety. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical installations in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and machinery comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Manage the electrical installation logbook and ensure all documentation is updated for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with internal maintenance teams and external contractors for electrical repairs and upgrades.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and implement efficiency improvements where applicable.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians on safety protocols and electrical best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Certificate of Competency as an A4 Chargeman issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical regulations, safety codes, and building standards.
- Proven ability to interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on proactive maintenance.
- Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English for technical reporting.
- Willingness to be on-call or work rotating shifts if required by operational needs.
