As an AB Deck, you will play a critical role in the deck operations, maintenance, and overall safety of our offshore vessels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all deck-related tasks are executed in strict accordance with international maritime regulations and company safety protocols. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine deck maintenance, including chipping, painting, and cleaning of deck surfaces.
- Assist in cargo operations, including the safe loading, securing, and discharging of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and inspect deck equipment, including winches, cranes, and mooring lines, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Serve as a vigilant lookout and assist the Officer of the Watch (OOW) during navigation.
- Operate various deck machinery and handle mooring operations during vessel berthing and unberthing.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety training, ensuring full compliance with the vessel's SMS (Safety Management System).
- Ensure all deck activities are carried out with strict adherence to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) policies.
Kualifikasi
- Possess valid STCW certification and a valid AB Deck endorsement (Rating forming part of a navigational watch).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience working on Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) or tug and barge operations.
- Current Seafarer Medical Certificate with no restrictions.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) for effective team communication.
- Strong understanding of maritime safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure offshore environment and adapt to rotating shift schedules.
- Professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and operational safety.
