We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Actuarial Supervisor to join our dynamic insurance team in Jakarta. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex actuarial calculations, ensuring the integrity of our financial reserves, and maintaining compliance with OJK and local regulatory standards.
As an Actuarial Supervisor, you will lead the preparation of actuarial inputs for financial reporting and provide strategic insights to management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor risk exposure and drive the accuracy of our valuation processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform and review complex actuarial calculations for reserves, liabilities, and solvency requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory frameworks and reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
- Prepare detailed actuarial reports and inputs for quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze experience studies to improve the accuracy of pricing and valuation models.
- Lead and mentor junior actuarial staff to foster technical growth and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance and Risk departments to provide data-backed insights for business planning.
- Validate internal actuarial models and assist in the implementation of new valuation software or methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the insurance or pension fund industry.
- Progress towards professional actuarial designation (e.g., PAI, SOA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, AXIS) and advanced Excel/VBA skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of local insurance regulations and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight financial reporting deadlines.
