The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is seeking a dedicated and skilled Administrative Aide IV (Mechanic I) to join our municipal maintenance and operations team. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on city government vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine malfunctions accurately and efficiently.
- Execute necessary repairs and replace worn-out or defective automotive components and parts.
- Conduct rigorous safety inspections on municipal vehicles to ensure compliance with roadworthiness standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and precise logs of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used.
- Manage the workshop inventory, ensuring mechanical tools and specialized equipment are kept in optimal working condition.
- Adhere strictly to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance facility.
Kualifikasi
- Completion of a relevant vocational, trade, or technical course in Automotive Servicing or Mechanical Technology.
- At least one (1) year of practical experience in automotive repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment servicing.
- Holders of a TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Automotive Servicing are highly preferred.
- Must meet the Civil Service Commission (CSC) eligibility requirements for Category I (MC 11, s. 1996, as amended) or equivalent.
- Strong familiarity with diagnostic tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and physical stamina to work in a demanding garage environment.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and readiness to support civic infrastructure.
