Monee is seeking a highly motivated Algorithm Engineer Intern to join our Singapore-based team for the Summer 2026 term (May – August). In this role, you will work at the intersection of machine learning, behavioral science, and credit modeling.
As an intern, you will not just be writing code—you will be at the forefront of innovation. You will be tasked with reading, reproducing, and implementing cutting-edge research papers focused on user behavior modeling, sequential recommendation systems, and NLP-inspired pretraining architectures. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform end-to-end research: read, analyze, and reproduce state-of-the-art machine learning papers.
- Implement scalable algorithms for user behavior modeling to improve credit scoring accuracy.
- Develop and fine-tune models based on sequential recommendation patterns and time-series analysis.
- Apply NLP-inspired pretraining techniques to unstructured financial data for deeper feature extraction.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate experimental models into the production pipeline.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance evaluation to validate model efficacy.
- Document technical findings and contribute to the internal research knowledge base.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong theoretical foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Hands-on experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy, SQL).
- Familiarity with sequence modeling (e.g., Transformers, RNNs, LSTMs).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate academic research into clean, efficient code.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Available for a full-time internship commitment from May to August 2026.
