The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) is inviting ambitious professionals to join our Islamic Market Development team as an Analyst or Senior Analyst. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities within the Islamic financial services sector.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of policies and regulatory frameworks for Shariah-compliant products.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, including financial institutions and Shariah advisors, to promote the Labuan IBFC value proposition.
- Monitor global trends in Islamic fintech, green sukuk, and Takaful to ensure Labuan remains competitive.
- Evaluate applications for new Islamic financial licenses and product approvals against regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and national financial committees.
- Support the organizationās participation in international forums and standard-setting bodies like IFSB and AAOIFI.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent application of Shariah governance across the authority.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās Degree in Islamic Finance, Economics, Banking, Shariah Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years (Analyst) or 5+ years (Senior Analyst) of relevant experience in financial services or regulation.
- Strong understanding of Shariah principles and their application in modern banking and capital markets.
- Professional certification in Islamic Finance (e.g., CIPA, CSA, or IFQ) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with high-level corporate and government stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act and related Shariah regulations.
