We are seeking a highly skilled API Process Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical MNC in the West Region for a 6-month contract. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the development, optimization, and scale-up of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) to meet stringent quality standards.
You will work closely with cross-functional R&D and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex chemical processes and ensure seamless transition from lab to pilot plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated chemist to gain exposure to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing within a multinational environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the development and optimization of chemical processes for API synthesis.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials to validate new processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions efficiently.
- Prepare detailed batch records, SOPs, and process validation reports.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Process Development.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in API Process Chemistry.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Proven experience in scale-up activities and process transfer.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality systems (GMP).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
