Are you passionate about sustainable marine development? YAYASAN BLUE ALLIANCE INDONESIA is looking for a visionary Project Manager to lead our flagship AQUAHUB initiative in the Banggai region. We aren't just farming; we are pioneering the future of sustainable marine ecosystems and coastal livelihoods. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our Sea Cucumber aquaculture project, ensuring operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment.
As the Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind scaling our sea cucumber operations, integrating scientific best practices with local traditional knowledge. You will manage cross-functional teams, navigate complex logistics in remote settings, and serve as a vital link between the project and local stakeholders to ensure long-term ecological and economic success.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the daily operations and strategic planning of the AQUAHUB sea cucumber aquaculture facility.
- Coordinate with technical teams to optimize cultivation techniques, water quality management, and hatchery performance.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timeline milestones to ensure all project phases are delivered on time.
- Facilitate community engagement programs to integrate local coastal livelihoods into the aquaculture value chain.
- Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability certifications.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress, biological performance indicators, and financial health for stakeholders.
- Mitigate operational risks related to climate impact and infrastructure maintenance in remote marine environments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Fisheries Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in aquaculture project management, ideally with echinoderms or tropical marine species.
- Proven track record of managing field-based teams and community-led conservation or development projects.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian maritime laws, sustainable farming regulations, and environmental impact assessments.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work effectively in remote, challenging coastal environments.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; ability to bridge technical requirements with community stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools for monitoring biological yields.
