A rapidly growing plastic injection molding company located in the prime industrial hub of Cikarang, Bekasi, is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager for Compounding to join our dynamic production team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the technical development and operational excellence of a new manufacturing facility.
As the Assistant Manager (Compounding), you will be responsible for overseeing the raw material compounding process, ensuring strict quality control, and optimizing production efficiency. You will lead a technical team, manage material formulations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain our competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate brings extensive knowledge of plastic resins, additives, and high-precision compounding machinery.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily compounding operations to ensure production targets are met with high-quality standards.
- Develop and refine material formulations to optimize product performance and cost-efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor the compounding production team to enhance technical capabilities and safety compliance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot machinery performance, coordinating with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to ISO standards and company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Collaborate with the QC department to conduct material testing and resolve non-conformity issues.
- Manage raw material inventory levels and supply coordination to prevent production downtime.
- Generate detailed production reports and provide insights for process improvement to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related industrial discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in plastic compounding or injection molding manufacturing.
- In-depth technical knowledge of polymer properties, masterbatch, and pigment dispersion.
- Proven leadership experience in managing production teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex chemical or mechanical process issues.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle rotating shift requirements if necessary.
