Genting Plantations Berhad is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Assistant Manager for Fire to join our dedicated team in Jakarta.
In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of our environmental safety and agricultural sustainability efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive fire prevention and control systems across our extensive plantation operations. You will lead the strategic planning for fire safety, ensuring that all preventive measures are rigorously executed to minimize risks.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the critical post-fire rehabilitation process. This involves leading technical teams to restore burnt land, reforest affected areas, and ensure the long-term productivity of our soil. You will act as the primary point of contact for fire safety compliance, liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring adherence to all local and international safety standards. By fostering a culture of safety and preparedness, you will protect our workforce and assets. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive fire prevention strategies and emergency response plans.
- Lead and coordinate fire response teams during critical incidents to ensure rapid containment.
- Oversee the technical rehabilitation and reforestation of burnt plantation areas to restore productivity.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and fire drills to ensure compliance.
- Train and mentor plantation staff on fire safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Monitor environmental conditions and implement measures to mitigate fire risks proactively.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders regarding safety compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or Fire Safety Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire management, specifically within plantation or agricultural industries.
- Proven experience in land rehabilitation and post-fire recovery techniques.
- Valid Fire Safety Certification (e.g., Fire Officer II/III or equivalent).
- Strong leadership, crisis management, and decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of local environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
