Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and review comprehensive Safety & Health policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with WSH Act and international standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across campus facilities and research laboratories to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
- Organize and deliver engaging safety training programs and awareness campaigns for staff, students, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all local Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and monitor changes in legislation to update internal practices.
- Advise various departments, faculties, and research groups on safety best practices and effective risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate safety records, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to management.
- Promote a strong and proactive safety culture through continuous engagement and communication initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a closely related field.
- Possess relevant safety certifications, such as a certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) or Workplace Safety and Health Professional (WSHP) in Singapore.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Safety & Health management, preferably within a large institutional, educational, or research-intensive environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and subsidiary legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex safety concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using safety management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
