We are currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Bosun to join our growing fleet of Offshore Support Vessels. Having evolved from a regional tug and barge operator into a formidable player in the offshore energy sector, our company is committed to operational excellence, maritime safety, and high-performance standards.
As a Bosun, you will be the backbone of the deck operations, overseeing the crew and ensuring that all deck maintenance, cargo handling, and safety procedures are executed to the highest international maritime standards. This role is perfect for a seasoned maritime professional looking to contribute to a dynamic, expanding regional leader in the Indonesian offshore market.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the deck crew in daily maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and deck equipment upkeep.
- Ensure full compliance with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations.
- Coordinate cargo handling operations, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and securing of equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of mooring gear, lifting equipment, and safety apparatus.
- Assist the Chief Officer in vessel operations, anchor handling, and rig move preparations.
- Maintain deck logbooks and inventory records for equipment and stores.
- Foster a culture of safety and teamwork among the deck department, conducting regular tool-box talks.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Bosun certification and relevant STCW-95/2010 mandatory certificates.
- Proven experience as a Bosun on Offshore Support Vessels (OSV), AHTS, or tug and barge operations.
- In-depth knowledge of deck equipment, rigging, and maritime safety protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a multi-cultural crew.
- Physical fitness suitable for the demanding environment of offshore maritime operations.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of discipline, reliability, and technical competence.
