The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an ambitious and strategic Business Development Manager (Cold Chain) to join our team at our Shah Alam headquarters. This role is central to our growth strategy, offering a unique chance to shape the future of our cold chain services. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the cold chain logistics sector to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies tailored to the cold chain market.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their unique logistics requirements.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and business potential.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and provide regular forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Represent Swift Haulage at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the logistics or cold chain industry.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of cold chain operations, regulatory standards, and warehousing best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel as required.
