Are you a detail-oriented procurement professional looking to make an impact in a global agricultural and manufacturing leader? Cargill is seeking a dedicated Buyer for Plant Material and Services to join our team in Pandaan, Jawa Timur. In this role, you will be the bridge between our operational needs and the supply market, ensuring that our plant runs efficiently through timely and cost-effective procurement.
You will be responsible for executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with established procurement policies. This is a fast-paced environment where your ability to solve complex supply chain challenges will directly contribute to our operational excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for non-contracted materials, goods, and services to meet plant operational requirements.
- Independently resolve procurement challenges, including delivery delays, quality issues, or supplier non-compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring accuracy in documentation and system inputs.
- Monitor and report on vendor performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels for critical supplies.
- Maintain compliance with internal safety, environmental, and corporate governance policies during all procurement activities.
- Participate in contract negotiations for local services to ensure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term, professional relationships with external vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Solid understanding of local market trends, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
