We are currently seeking experienced Senior Piping Designers to join our talent pool for upcoming projects in Kuala Lumpur. As a Senior Piping Designer, you will be responsible for developing detailed piping designs and layouts that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability. You will work within a dynamic and innovative team, contributing to the success of major FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in piping design to create efficient and cost-effective solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems into overall platform designs. Your expertise in 3D design tools such as PDMS and E3D will be essential in producing high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and lead design reviews, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of piping materials, welding, and fabrication processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and review piping designs and layouts using PDMS/E3D and other design tools.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes (ASME, ANSI, API) and company standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of designers and draftsmen.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate piping systems into overall design.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
- Optimize piping layouts for cost, constructability, and maintainability.
- Prepare and check material take-offs and piping deliverables.
- Provide technical support during construction and installation phases.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in piping design for offshore oil and gas projects.
- Proficient in PDMS, E3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1).
- Experience with piping stress analysis software (CAESAR II or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with SBM Offshore or similar FPSO projects preferred.
