Apexindo Pratama Duta, a leading provider of drilling services in Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to join our team and manage electrical systems on our 2000HP drilling rig operations. This is a critical leadership position that requires proven expertise in industrial electrical systems and the ability to ensure optimal performance of all electrical equipment.
As Chief Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance operations, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the rig crew to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all electrical systems and equipment maintenance on the 2000HP drilling rig
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical infrastructure
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and system malfunctions
- Coordinate with OEM representatives (CAT, NOV, etc.) for technical support and parts procurement
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Lead and supervise electrical crew members, providing technical guidance and training
- Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work, repairs, and modifications
- Respond to emergency electrical situations and implement effective solutions
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Electrician or Maintenance Supervisor on standalone drilling rigs (2000HP or equivalent)
- Prior work experience with major OEM equipment including CAT, NOV, and similar brands
- Comprehensive knowledge of drilling rig electrical systems, motors, and control panels
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in oil and gas operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to work in team environment
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Relevant certifications in electrical engineering or industrial electrical systems
- Willingness to work in Indonesia and adapt to local operational conditions
