Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all engineering operations, maintenance, and repair activities on assigned Offshore Support Vessels.
- Ensure strict compliance with local maritime laws, international standards (STCW), and company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate the daily activities of the engineering team, including ratings and junior officers.
- Prepare and manage the engineering budget, including procurement of spare parts, fuel management, and cost control strategies.
- Liaise with ship owners, clients, port authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure operational compliance and smooth service delivery.
- Conduct regular technical inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on vessel condition and performance.
- Execute emergency response procedures and technical troubleshooting during critical situations.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related technical field.
- Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC) issued by the Indonesian Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in similar roles, specifically on OSVs, tugs, or offshore support vessels.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse technical crew effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure and a commitment to safety-first operations.
- Valid medical fitness certificate for seafarers.
- Proficiency in maritime software, vessel management systems, and technical documentation.
