PT Temas Shipping is seeking a highly experienced and responsible Chief Officer to join our dynamic maritime team. You will play a pivotal role in our vessel operations, holding the ultimate responsibility for cargo management, the safety of the crew and passengers, and the overall stability of the ship during voyages. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all cargo operations, including loading, securing, and discharging to ensure optimal space utilization and safety.
- Ensure strict compliance with international maritime laws, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISPS security codes.
- Monitor and maintain the seaworthiness and stability of the vessel at all times.
- Supervise and coordinate the duties of the deck crew, including watchkeeping officers and ratings.
- Conduct regular safety drills, emergency response exercises, and inspections to maintain high safety standards.
- Manage the vessel's inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment reports.
- Communicate effectively with the Master and port authorities regarding cargo operations and ship status.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Chief Officer (OICW).
- Minimum of 24 to 48 months of sea service as a 2nd Officer or equivalent rank.
- Degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, or a related maritime field.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and knowledge of maritime terminology.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good physical and mental health suitable for life at sea.
- Familiarity with modern navigation systems and cargo handling equipment.
