We are currently seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Chief Sewing Supervisor to join our production facility in Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah.
As the Chief Sewing Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our sewing floor operations. You will oversee production output, manage departmental efficiency, and lead a large team of sewing operators to ensure all garments meet our strict quality and delivery standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise a large team of sewing machine operators to ensure daily production targets are met.
- Monitor production line efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and minimize defects during the sewing process.
- Conduct regular training and mentorship for line leaders and sewing staff to improve skill levels and throughput.
- Coordinate with the planning and cutting departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment in accordance with industrial safety regulations.
- Analyze production reports to optimize man-machine allocation and reduce operational waste.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the garment/apparel manufacturing industry.
- In-depth technical knowledge of sewing machines, stitching techniques, and garment construction processes.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale production teams and lead by example.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma exposure is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with garment production scheduling software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight shipment deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian (English proficiency is an advantage).
