Sompo Insurance Indonesia is seeking an experienced and driven Claim Adjuster (Non-Motor Vehicle) to join our dynamic claims team in Jakarta Selatan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, investigating, and resolving diverse non-motor insurance claims (including property, casualty, marine, and engineering lines) efficiently and equitably.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about enabling quick handling of claims, minimizing outstanding cycles, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will collaborate closely with underwriters, surveyors, and external legal/technical partners to assess liability, evaluate losses, and negotiate fair settlements in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Tanggung Jawab
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex non-motor claims (including Property, Liability, Engineering, and Marine) within designated authority levels.
- Drive the proactive management of claims to ensure rapid processing, reducing outstanding claim cycles and improving overall operational efficiency.
- Review and interpret policy wordings, endorsements, and clauses to determine coverage liability accurately.
- Appoint, manage, and coordinate with third-party service providers, including loss adjusters, surveyors, legal experts, and investigators.
- Negotiate claim settlements directly with policyholders, brokers, and claimants to achieve fair and cost-effective resolutions.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date claim files and documentation in the core insurance system.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk Management, and Legal departments to identify risk trends and recommend policy improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Non-Motor Claim adjusting (Property, Liability, Marine, or Technical lines) within the general insurance sector.
- Professional insurance qualification (e.g., AAAIK, AAIK, or ANZIIF) is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of commercial insurance contracts, Indonesian insurance laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging settlement conversations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
