Join Indospec Asia as a dedicated Coating & Corrosion Inspector and play a pivotal role in maintaining the structural integrity and longevity of critical industrial assets. We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure that all coating applications meet stringent international standards, preventing costly corrosion and extending the lifespan of our clients' infrastructure.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections on various surfaces, including steel structures, tanks, and pipelines. You will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to measure coating thickness, evaluate surface preparation quality, and identify potential defects. Your expertise will directly impact safety standards and operational efficiency in the field.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct surface preparation inspections, including abrasive blasting, washing, and chemical cleaning, ensuring compliance with SSPC or NACE standards.
- Perform coating application inspections to verify wet and dry film thickness using magnetic or ultrasonic gauges.
- Inspect welds, substrate quality, and surface irregularities to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Document inspection results, including photographic evidence, and report any non-conformities to project managers immediately.
- Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn correctly and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with site engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues related to coating failures.
- Manage daily inspection logs and maintain accurate records for quality assurance audits.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Coating Inspector or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
- Certification in NACE CIP Level 2, SSPC QP1, or CIP Level 1 is highly preferred.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Technology is an advantage.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A) and ability to travel to various project sites.
- Familiarity with coating compatibility charts and international coating specifications.
- Physically fit to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia for effective communication.
