Shopee is looking for a detail-oriented Cost Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Semarang. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health of our warehousing operations by analyzing costs, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence.
As a key member of the finance team, you will support ad hoc analysis, reporting, and strategic projects related to cost control and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with warehouse management to streamline processes and maximize profitability, directly contributing to Shopee's commitment to providing the best shopping experience.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze and monitor monthly warehouse operational expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory management and reduce holding costs.
- Conduct regular audits of procurement and operational spending to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the implementation of new cost control strategies and process improvements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes related to warehouse finance.
- Identify and recommend solutions to improve operational cost efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or warehouse operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
