PT MahaJaya Plastindo is seeking a meticulous and analytical Costing Staff / Inventory Cost Control to join our growing team in Kosambi, Banten. As a key member of our finance and operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory data and maintaining optimal cost efficiency across our production and storage processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end inventory cost oversight, performing rigorous stock reconciliations, and providing actionable financial insights to management. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous process improvement.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and record daily inventory movements to ensure accurate stock valuation.
- Perform regular physical stock-taking activities and conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Reconcile inventory records with financial reports to ensure data integrity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
- Execute cost accounting procedures to determine the actual production cost per unit.
- Identify and investigate root causes of inventory shrinkage or material loss.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end closing reports regarding inventory and costing.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cost control, inventory management, or general accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local inventory management software).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting standards is a significant advantage.
