Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all aspects of crew planning, recruitment, selection, and deployment for the company's fleet, ensuring optimal manning levels and operational readiness.
- Ensure strict compliance with international maritime regulations (e.g., STCW, MLC), flag state requirements, port state controls, and company policies.
- Coordinate all crew changes, including travel arrangements, visas, medicals, and logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
- Manage crew welfare programs, including appraisals, promotions, training and development, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manning agencies, training centers, maritime authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Administer crewing budgets, control costs, and provide regular, accurate reports on crewing-related expenses and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date seafarer records, certifications, and documentation within the crewing management system.
- Act as a primary point of contact for seafarers and their families regarding employment-related queries and support.
Kualifikasi
- Sailed as Master or Chief Officer with a valid Certificate of Competency (COC) is highly preferred, demonstrating strong maritime operational experience.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven shore-based experience in a crewing management or similar senior role within the maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime conventions, regulations (STCW, MLC), and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse, multicultural workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex logistics, work effectively under pressure, and make sound, timely decisions.
- Proficiency in crewing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant maritime management systems.
- A bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and cost control principles related to crewing operations.
