SOECHI is a leading player in the maritime, transportation, and logistics industry, committed to excellence and operational efficiency. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Crewing Recruitment Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Jakarta.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for maritime personnel, ensuring that our fleet is staffed with qualified, competent, and certified professionals. You will manage crewing strategies, maintain compliance with international maritime standards, and foster relationships with seafarers to ensure high retention and operational continuity.
The ideal candidate possesses deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of maritime human resources in a fast-paced environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the end-to-end recruitment process for vessel crew members including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Ensure all crew certifications, documentation, and medical records are up to date and compliant with international maritime regulations (STCW, MLC, etc.).
- Coordinate with the operations department to forecast crewing needs and manage crew rotation schedules efficiently.
- Conduct performance evaluations and maintain a comprehensive database of qualified seafarers.
- Manage relationships with crewing agencies, maritime training institutions, and relevant government authorities.
- Implement strategic recruitment initiatives to attract top-tier maritime talent to the company.
- Monitor and report on recruitment KPIs, turnover rates, and crew satisfaction levels to management.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in maritime crewing, recruitment, or human resources within the shipping/logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, STCW requirements, and Flag State documentation.
- Proven leadership experience in managing recruitment teams or crewing departments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with diverse personnel.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
