This is a critical role designed for a professional who understands the complexities of maritime logistics and the importance of maintaining a skilled, compliant, and motivated crew.
As a Crewing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our seafaring staff, ensuring that our vessels are manned by qualified individuals according to international and local maritime standards. You will bridge the gap between shore-based management and vessel operations, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle for maritime crew, including sourcing, interviewing, and background verification.
- Manage complex crew rotation schedules to ensure uninterrupted vessel operations and compliance with work-rest hours.
- Maintain and update all crew documentation, ensuring 100% compliance with STCW, ALFI, and Indonesian maritime regulations.
- Coordinate all travel arrangements, including visas, flights, and local transport for crew sign-on and sign-off.
- Calculate and process crew payroll, including allowances, bonuses, and tax deductions accurately and on time.
- Monitor and manage crew performance evaluations and identify training needs for career development.
- Liaise with port authorities, agents, and government bodies regarding crew matters and vessel clearances.
- Ensure all crew medical certifications and insurance coverage (BPJS/P&I) are valid and up to date.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Crewing Management, specifically within Tug & Barge operations.
- In-depth knowledge of STCW 2010, MLC 2006, and Indonesian Labor Laws related to seafarers.
- Proven experience in payroll calculation and managing crew travel logistics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a diverse workforce under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office and specialized crewing software/ERP systems.
- Resident of or willing to work in Jakarta Barat.
