Tanggung Jawab
- Perform the decontamination, cleaning, and disinfection of all medical and surgical instruments.
- Execute precise sterilization cycles using autoclaves and other specialized equipment according to hospital SOPs.
- Inspect instruments for damage or wear and perform functional testing to ensure clinical readiness.
- Assemble instrument sets and trays accurately for surgical departments and various clinical units.
- Maintain strict quality control logs and documentation for all sterilization batches to comply with international accreditation standards.
- Manage the proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to ensure stock integrity and availability.
- Adhere to universal precautions and occupational health and safety protocols to maintain a sterile work environment.
Kualifikasi
- Educational background in Nursing, Pharmacy, or a relevant medical/health discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a CSSD or sterile processing unit within a hospital environment.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and surgical instrument handling.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow complex technical procedures without deviation.
- Physical capability to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Professional certification in CSSD operations is highly preferred.
