Are you an expert in trade compliance and logistics? Hyper Mega Shipping is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Custom Clearance Staff to join our growing team in Medan Belawan. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our international trade operations, ensuring that all import and export activities comply with Indonesian customs regulations and international logistics standards.
You will work closely with port authorities, freight forwarders, and our internal logistics teams to facilitate seamless cargo movement. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee the entire end-to-end customs clearance process for export and import shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and submit accurate customs declarations and supporting documents (PIB/PEB).
- Ensure all shipments comply with prevailing Indonesian customs laws, regulations, and trade policies.
- Communicate effectively with customs brokers, shipping lines, and port authorities to resolve clearance issues.
- Monitor and manage HS Code classifications to ensure correct duty and tax calculations.
- Track shipment statuses and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain comprehensive digital and physical filing systems for all customs and logistics documentation.
- Proactively address and resolve potential delays or compliance discrepancies at the port of entry/exit.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Customs Clearance Staff or in a similar trade compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian Customs systems (CEISA/OSS/INSW).
- Deep understanding of HS Code classification, trade regulations, and import/export licensing requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations in a port environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various government and private stakeholders.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Willingness to be based in Medan Belawan, Sumatera Utara.
