PT German Premium Engineering is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Broker Specialist to join our logistics team in Surabaya. As we specialize in the import and export of premium camper vans, we require an expert to navigate the complex regulatory landscapes of both Indonesia and Timor Leste.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all cross-border clearance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless transit of high-value specialized vehicles, maintaining strict compliance with international trade laws, and minimizing administrative delays. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee all import/export customs clearance processes for camper vans in Indonesia and Timor Leste.
- Prepare, review, and file accurate customs documentation including PIB, PEB, and relevant trade permits.
- Serve as the liaison between the company and customs authorities, port officials, and freight forwarders.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international trade regulations to avoid penalties and delays.
- Monitor and track shipment statuses, providing regular updates to the logistics and operations departments.
- Classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes for accurate duty and tax assessment.
- Resolve any customs-related disputes or inquiries promptly to ensure cargo mobility.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Customs Broker or in an import/export logistics role.
- Strong working knowledge of Indonesian and Timor Leste customs regulations and trade laws.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for international coordination.
- Proficient in using customs filing software (e.g., CEISA or similar systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments concurrently.
- Certification in Customs Brokerage (PPJK) is highly preferred.
