In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between customer demand and internal production capabilities, ensuring seamless operations and optimal inventory levels.
As our Demand Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing historical sales data, managing customer forecasts via MRP systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery schedules. You will play a critical role in minimizing stock-outs, reducing carrying costs, and driving overall operational efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and analyze customer demand forecasts using MRP systems to drive production planning.
- Coordinate closely with internal production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods to optimize stock turnover.
- Generate and present regular demand planning reports to management, highlighting key metrics and variances.
- Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and market trends into forecasts.
- Conduct root cause analysis for forecast inaccuracies and implement process improvements.
- Maintain data integrity within the ERP/MRP system to ensure reliable supply chain performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or production control within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, contract-based environment.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English.
