Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership team, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and execute strategies to foster meaningful collaborations between A*STAR researchers and industry partners
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the biomedical sciences sector, including multinational corporations, SMEs, and investment firms
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate technology transfer and commercialization of research outcomes through effective industry engagement
- Monitor emerging trends and opportunities in the biomedical sciences landscape and advise on strategic positioning
- Represent A*STAR at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote collaboration opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of industry partnerships into research programs
Kualifikasi
- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in biomedical sciences, life sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industry partnership management, business development, or related roles in the biomedical sciences sector
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful public-private partnerships
- Strong network of contacts in the biomedical sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated understanding of technology transfer, intellectual property management, and commercialization processes
- Strategic thinking abilities with experience in developing and implementing partnership strategies
- Experience working in a research-intensive environment or government agency is highly desirable
