Based in Singapore, you will oversee comprehensive reporting on political, business, technology, economic, and social developments across Pakistan and other South Asian nations.

As the Editor (South Asia), you will be responsible for developing editorial strategies, maintaining journalistic standards, and ensuring that CNA TV's reporting meets the highest quality benchmarks. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complex media landscape of South Asia and identifying emerging stories that matter to our viewers.

- Oversee editorial coverage of political, business, technology, economic, and social issues in South Asia
- Develop and implement editorial strategies for the South Asia region
- Work with correspondents and journalists to ensure accurate and balanced reporting
- Monitor and analyze regional developments to identify newsworthy stories
- Maintain high journalistic standards and ensure editorial quality
- Collaborate with the production team to create compelling news content
- Build and maintain relationships with key sources across the region
- Stay updated on regional trends and developments affecting news coverage
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as an editor or senior journalist with focus on South Asian affairs
- In-depth knowledge of political, economic, and social landscape in Pakistan and surrounding regions
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working in a fast-paced news environment
- Ability to manage correspondents and editorial teams effectively
- Strong network of contacts in South Asian media and political circles
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred
