Esun International Pte Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented EXIM Manager to join our dynamic team in Batam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end import and export operations of the company. The successful candidate will ensure that all logistical processes are executed smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with international trade laws and local customs regulations.
As an EXIM Manager, you will serve as the bridge between our production needs and global supply chain partners. We are looking for a proactive professional who can streamline processes, reduce lead times, and optimize costs while maintaining a high standard of regulatory adherence. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement efficient import/export operational strategies to support production schedules.
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with local authorities.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and 3PL providers to optimize logistics costs and transit times.
- Monitor and manage trade compliance, including HS code classification, duty rates, and government permits (PI/LS).
- Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain effective relationships with customs brokers and relevant government agencies (Bea Cukai).
- Coordinate closely with internal departments, including Procurement and Warehouse, to ensure timely arrival and distribution of goods.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Export/Import management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Import/Export regulations, INSW, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
