Tanggung Jawab
- Execute routine and preventive electrical maintenance programs for plant machinery and systems, including high/low voltage switchgears, transformers, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and timely repair of electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations, company safety standards, and established operational procedures.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to a team of electrical technicians and external contractors.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, inspections, equipment history, and test results.
- Implement and enforce robust electrical safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols, and conduct regular safety audits.
- Actively participate in planning and execution of plant shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor and optimize electrical power distribution and consumption to enhance plant efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Chargeman Competency Certificate (A0, A1, A2, A3, or A4) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Chargeman in a heavy industrial, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Profound knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation.
- Strong understanding and application of local electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with complex electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
