Are you a seasoned Fire Safety professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a non-construction environment? We are seeking a dedicated Fire Safety Manager to oversee fire prevention protocols, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance for our diverse building portfolio in the East Region. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring that all premises meet the highest standards of safety, protecting both our assets and the people who occupy them.
You will work closely with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee to proactively identify risks, enhance existing EHS programs, and foster a culture of safety excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive fire safety management systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SCDF regulations and local building codes.
- Lead and facilitate the WSH/EHS Committee to improve safety performance and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate regular fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and safety training sessions for staff and stakeholders.
- Investigate all fire safety-related incidents or near-misses and prepare detailed root-cause analysis reports.
- Manage the maintenance and inspection schedules for all fire protection equipment, including extinguishers, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
- Act as the primary liaison with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies regarding fire safety matters.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification recognized by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire safety management within commercial or institutional building premises.
- Strong working knowledge of the Fire Safety Act and relevant Singapore Standards (SS) for fire protection.
- Proven ability to develop and enhance Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (e.g., bizSAFE level 2 or higher is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail.
