Cotrans Asia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foreman Transshipment to join our dynamic logistics team in Paser, East Kalimantan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of transshipment activities, ensuring that cargo—primarily in the mining or bulk commodity sector—is moved safely, efficiently, and within scheduled timelines.
As a Foreman, you are the bridge between management goals and field execution. You will lead a dedicated crew, manage operational resources, and maintain the highest standards of safety (HSE) and environmental compliance. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate all transshipment operations, including the loading and unloading of cargo between barges and vessels.
- Lead and manage field crews to ensure productivity targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize downtime.
- Prepare daily operational reports, including tonnage handled, fuel consumption, and incident logs.
- Conduct regular safety briefings (Toolbox Meetings) and ensure all team members utilize proper PPE.
- Collaborate with logistics planners and port authorities to optimize vessel turnaround times.
- Identify and mitigate operational bottlenecks to improve overall flow and efficiency.
- Ensure all environmental regulations regarding cargo handling are strictly followed.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transshipment, stevedoring, or maritime logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid certification in Occupational Health and Safety (K3 Umum or K3 Pertambangan is highly preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage diverse teams in remote locations.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment operations and cargo handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to work on a roster schedule and reside in or near Paser, Kalimantan Timur.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to work in demanding outdoor environments.
