Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food is seeking a dynamic Head of Local Category Support (Assistant Manager) to join our operations in Lampung. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end local procurement processes, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and seamless supply chain support for our manufacturing and logistics needs.
As the Assistant Manager for Local Category Support, you will be responsible for managing local vendor relationships, optimizing category spending, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business goals, ensuring that all supplies and services meet our rigorous quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of the local market dynamics in the Lampung region.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end local procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Develop and execute local category strategies to achieve cost savings and optimize supplier performance.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key local suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to provide data-driven insights for procurement decision-making.
- Supervise local procurement team activities, providing mentorship and driving operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to quality and service level agreements.
- Coordinate with internal logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows and reduce operational risks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable procurement strategies.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and business practices in Lampung or similar regions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
