Genting Plantations Berhad is currently seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Plasma to lead our smallholder partnership initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the sustainable development, productivity, and profitability of our plasma schemes, ensuring they align with both company standards and national regulatory frameworks.
You will act as the bridge between the corporate entity and smallholder farmers, implementing best practices in agronomy, operational efficiency, and social responsibility. This role demands a high-level leader capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments and driving transformation in the agricultural sector through sustainable partnership models.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance smallholder (plasma) productivity and fruit quality.
- Oversee the operational management of plasma plantations to ensure adherence to sustainable agricultural practices and company KPIs.
- Foster strong, transparent, and mutually beneficial relationships with local cooperatives and smallholder farmer groups.
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for plasma development projects.
- Implement and monitor compliance with ISPO/RSPO and other relevant industry sustainability standards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide training, technical support, and logistical assistance to plasma farmers.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in plantation operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focusing on plasma/smallholder schemes.
- Deep understanding of the Indonesian oil palm industry and government regulations regarding plasma development.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and community relations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently to plantation sites across Indonesia.
