Join PT Buana Maritim Sejahtera as our Head Technical Shipping Department and lead the technical excellence of our Single Point Offloading Barge (SPOB) operations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned maritime professional to oversee all technical aspects of our oil barge fleet, ensuring optimal operational readiness while maintaining the highest international safety standards. You'll spearhead maintenance strategies, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet performance and reliability.
As technical leader, you'll manage critical aspects including preventive maintenance scheduling, technical troubleshooting, and compliance with maritime regulations. The position demands strategic oversight of technical budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration with operational teams. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead all technical operations for SPOB fleet including maintenance planning, execution, and quality control
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and Indonesian maritime safety regulations
- Manage technical budgets, inventory control, and procurement of marine equipment
- Coordinate with classification societies, surveyors, and regulatory authorities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems
- Investigate technical failures and implement corrective action plans
- Mentor technical team and oversee contractor performance
- Prepare technical reports for management and regulatory submissions
Kualifikasi
- S1 degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related technical field
- Minimum 8 years maritime technical experience with 3+ years in leadership role
- Certified Marine Engineer or equivalent technical qualification
- Proven experience with oil barges, offshore vessels, or similar SPOB operations
- Deep knowledge of marine safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex technical systems
- Proficient in technical documentation and regulatory compliance
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for technical communications
