Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough inspections of travelers and goods at checkpoints to ensure compliance with immigration laws
- Manage and coordinate border control operations to maintain efficient and secure passage
- Assist in the detection and prevention of illegal immigration, smuggling, and other security threats
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior officers during checkpoint operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all border control activities
- Respond to emergency situations and security incidents at checkpoints
- Stay updated on immigration regulations and procedures to ensure compliance
Kualifikasi
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident with a strong commitment to national security
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification
- Good physical fitness to withstand the demands of checkpoint duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in critical situations
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security systems
- Clean criminal record and high integrity
