Indotara Persada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Staff to join our growing team in Kabupaten Tangerang. In this role, you will be the backbone of our international supply chain, ensuring that all imported goods are processed efficiently, compliantly, and on time.
As an Import Staff member, you will bridge the gap between our suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal procurement teams. You will play a critical role in navigating complex customs regulations, managing documentation, and optimizing shipping workflows to support our manufacturing and distribution excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and monitor the entire import process from supplier dispatch to final warehouse delivery.
- Prepare, verify, and manage all essential import documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and minimize port delays.
- Monitor and track shipment status, providing timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding arrival dates and potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with all Indonesian trade regulations, import permits (PI), and licensing requirements.
- Process import-related payments, including duties, taxes, and handling fees, while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Analyze and resolve any discrepancies in shipping documents or customs classifications (HS Code) to avoid operational penalties.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations or customs handling.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, INSW (Indonesia National Single Window), and HS Code classification.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP software for inventory or logistics management.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail to prevent administrative errors.
