- Oversee and direct all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce robust health, safety, and environmental protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material handling procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, transport, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration and timely order fulfillment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective management of resources and expenses.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role in logistics/supply chain.
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management procedures, best practices, and international shipping/receiving.
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment, adapt to local customs, and manage logistical challenges specific to Papua New Guinea or Vanuatu.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
