Koding Next is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Coding Teacher to join our growing team in East Jakarta. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in demystifying technology for students ranging from primary to high school levels, helping them develop critical computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
We believe that coding is the literacy of the 21st century. As our newest team member, you will facilitate engaging, hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the screen. You will guide students through programming fundamentals, game design, and robotics, fostering a creative and supportive classroom environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality coding lessons tailored to different age groups (Primary to High School).
- Facilitate interactive classroom sessions using industry-standard platforms and visual programming tools.
- Provide personalized guidance and mentorship to students to ensure they grasp complex logic and programming concepts.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Organize and participate in school events, coding workshops, and extracurricular technology showcases.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine teaching materials and integrate new, exciting tech trends into the classroom.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or mentoring students, preferably in a tech or coding environment.
- Solid understanding of programming languages (e.g., Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or Web Development basics).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
- High level of patience, enthusiasm, and ability to explain technical concepts to young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Koding Next’s proprietary teaching methodologies.
