Keystone Strategy Indonesia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Tax Dispute Associate to join our dynamic tax advisory practice in Jakarta Selatan. This role is designed for ambitious professionals who want to specialize in the challenging and rewarding field of tax litigation, controversy, and dispute resolution.
As a Junior Tax Dispute Associate, you will work closely with senior consultants and tax attorneys to assist clients through complex tax audits, objections, and tax court appeals. You will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, researching tax laws, and drafting official defense letters. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in preparing legal and supporting documentation for tax audits, objections, and tax court appeals.
- Conduct thorough research on Indonesian tax regulations, court precedents, and double tax treaties (P3B) to support defense arguments.
- Analyze and reconcile corporate financial statements, tax returns (VAT, CIT, WHT), and general ledgers to identify potential tax exposures and discrepancies.
- Draft high-quality formal responses, objection letters, and appeal briefs under the supervision of senior advisors.
- Liaise with tax authorities and representatives of the Directorate General of Taxation (DGT) to submit required data and monitor dispute progress.
- Maintain systematic and secure archives of all tax dispute correspondence and working papers.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Taxation, Fiscal Administration, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in tax consulting, corporate tax, or tax litigation. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience in tax disputes are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and dispute procedures (audit, objection, appeal, and lawsuit).
- Holding Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred; Brevet C or Tax Court License (IKH) is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for drafting professional arguments and communicating with multinational clients.
- Advanced analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and e-tax applications (e-Faktur, e-SPT).
