Industrial Polymer, a leader in the polymer manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated Lab Intern to join our dynamic laboratory team in Kulai, Johor. This internship offers an immersive experience in a real-world industrial laboratory, where you will actively participate in daily operations, quality control, and research support activities. You will work alongside skilled chemists and technicians, gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge equipment and processes.
As a Lab Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with routine testing, data recording, and database management. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in science or engineering fields who wish to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice. Tanggung Jawab
- Participate in the daily workflow to support the Laboratory Department's operations
- Update and maintain database systems and prepare accurate information reports
- Assist in conducting experiments, testing, and quality control procedures under supervision
- Record, organize, and analyze laboratory data to support ongoing projects
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Contribute to team meetings and collaborate on process improvement initiatives
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and chemicals
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in laboratory work and polymer science
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior internship experience in a laboratory is an advantage
