Samindo Resources is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Liquid Bulk Cargo Superintendent to join our expanding logistics and operations team in Jakarta Selatan. As a Cargo Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing complex liquid cargo movements, coordinating between vessels, terminals, and internal logistics teams. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive cargo loading and discharge plans for liquid bulk commodities.
- Conduct thorough pre-loading inspections and ensure all vessel tanks are suitable for the specific cargo type.
- Supervise cargo operations on-site to ensure strict adherence to international maritime safety and environmental regulations (MARPOL/SOLAS).
- Monitor pumping rates, pressure, and temperature levels to prevent contamination and operational delays.
- Coordinate effectively with port authorities, terminal representatives, and ship crews to ensure seamless vessel turnaround.
- Prepare accurate cargo reports, stowage plans, and operational logs post-discharge for management review.
- Identify potential risks during transfer operations and implement immediate corrective actions to mitigate losses.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related Logistics field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cargo Superintendent or Senior Officer in liquid bulk/tanker operations.
- In-depth understanding of international maritime conventions and safety management systems (SMS).
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and lead cross-functional teams in a port environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive during operational emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant cargo handling software and office documentation tools.
