BYD Automotive is expanding its footprint in Indonesia and is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Specialist (Transportation & Resource Management) to be based in our Subang facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain, managing complex transportation networks, and ensuring the seamless flow of resources that power our electric vehicle revolution.
In this role, you will interface with cross-functional teams to streamline domestic and international logistics operations, improve cost efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of resource allocation. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and transport partners to optimize service levels and costs.
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs, providing reports on transit times, resource utilization, and operational bottlenecks.
- Oversee resource allocation strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels across production lines and warehouse facilities.
- Collaborate with procurement and production departments to synchronize material movement with manufacturing schedules.
- Develop and implement SOPs for logistics compliance, safety, and quality assurance during transportation.
- Troubleshoot logistics disruptions and implement effective contingency plans to minimize impact on production.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of domestic logistics regulations, supply chain software (ERP/WMS), and route planning tools.
- Proven ability to manage complex transportation vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to improve operational efficiencies.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
