Tanggung Jawab
- Perform accurate and timely appraisals of luxury goods including watches, handbags, jewelry, and other high-value items.
- Conduct thorough authentication processes to distinguish genuine products from replicas and identify unique characteristics.
- Stay current with market trends, brand histories, and current values to ensure precise and competitive valuations.
- Meticulously document all valuation processes, findings, item conditions, and relevant details.
- Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service to clients regarding their luxury items and appraisal queries.
- Maintain and expand up-to-date knowledge of luxury brands, materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, and inventory teams to maintain consistent valuation standards and item flow.
- Assist in the secure handling, storage, and inventory management of high-value luxury goods.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in luxury goods valuation, authentication, or a closely related field.
- In-depth knowledge of various luxury categories, such as watches (horology), handbags, fine jewelry (gemology), and collectibles.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a discerning eye for quality and authenticity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to conduct thorough research independently and adapt to evolving market dynamics and trends.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling valuable assets and sensitive information.
- Relevant certifications or diplomas in gemology, horology, luxury brand management, or appraisal are highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in using valuation tools, databases, and standard office software.
