Join Himalaya Wellness as a Material Sourcing Specialist and play a pivotal role in our procurement excellence journey. This position combines transactional procurement expertise with strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize our material supply chain. You'll manage end-to-end procurement processes, negotiate with global suppliers, and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance cost-efficiency and supplier performance. The ideal candidate will leverage Mandarin language proficiency to build strong relationships with Asian suppliers while ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines. - Execute transactional procurement activities for raw materials and components
- Develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with production requirements and budget targets
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and negotiate contracts
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with logistics and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and supplier databases
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or material sourcing
- Native or fluent Mandarin language proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement process optimization
- Knowledge of manufacturing supply chains and logistics
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
