Are you an experienced professional with a passion for supply chain and material procurement? PERSOL is currently seeking a dedicated Material Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Jakarta. In this role, you will play a critical part in the production lifecycle of high-quality outdoor furniture, ensuring we maintain premium standards through efficient material acquisition.
As a Merchandiser focusing on material sourcing, you will bridge the gap between raw material suppliers and our manufacturing floor. You will be responsible for scouting high-quality, weather-resistant materials, negotiating competitive pricing, and maintaining seamless logistics to ensure timely project delivery. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for high-quality outdoor furniture materials (rattan, wood, metal, textiles).
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate with the production and design teams to understand material requirements for upcoming product lines.
- Monitor raw material market trends and anticipate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Manage end-to-end procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Perform regular site visits to supplier facilities to conduct quality audits and compliance checks.
- Resolve supply chain bottlenecks to maintain consistent production flow.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in material sourcing or merchandising, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of outdoor furniture materials, including weather-resistant fabrics and treated woods.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP/Inventory management software.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Willingness to travel locally to visit vendor locations as required.
